About
From the moment she first experienced the explosive sonic shock of legendary KISS guitarist Ace Frehley, Bella Perron’s life was changed instantly. At age five, she snatched up a guitar and never put it down, or turned back. While taking lessons at her dad’s Maine music store, the aspiring young musician quickly soaked in the inspiration of such guitar greats as Randy Rhoads, Nuno Bettencourt, Joe Satriani, Slash, and Joe Perry. By age 13, Bella was already becoming a frequent fixture on the local live music scene, sitting in with her dad’s bands.
Throughout her consistent Honor Roll high school experience, Bella played in various jazz ensembles and theater pit bands. As her Senior Project, she composed, performed, recorded and released her debut EP “Into Oblivion” in 2020. While recording the instrumental project, Bella was accepted at the prestigious Berklee College of Music where she studied under the guidance of Scott Tarulli. Along the way, she continued to follow her passion, honing her skills, and sharpening her chops.
Bella was tapped to sign on with the emerging New York-based rock band Plush in 2020. Over the next four years, she played on several Plush records, appeared in numerous Plush music videos, and toured the U.S. extensively, opening for such powerhouse artists as Evanescence, Halestorm, Slash, Alice in Chains, and Breaking Benjamin. Bella also performed with Plush at major American concert festivals, including Rocklahoma, Sonic Temple, and Welcome to Rockville. Her touring experience with Plush culminated in 2024 with a headline festival appearance in Okinawa, Japan.
In the spring of 2024, Bella made her publishing debut when she penned the foreword and extensive commentary to author Christopher Long’s bestselling book, Garage Sale Vinyl. Later that summer, she joined forces with master shredder Diego Vargas on the mind-blowing video / single, “Phantom of the Opera.” At year’s end, alongside such guitar legends as Nancy Wilson, Lita Ford, and Nita Strauss, Bella appeared as a counselor at the famed annual Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp in Los Angeles.
By February 2025, Bella was playing in the Slim Jim Phantom Trio, featuring Slim Jim Phantom, drummer for the iconic rockabilly group Stray Cats, and Jennie Vee, bassist for the celebrated rock act Eagles of Death Metal. In April, Bella debuted onstage at the famed Grand Ole Opry, performing with Phantom, Vee, and rockabilly guitarist JD McPherson at the Duane Eddy tribute concert.
As the year rolls on, Bella finds herself in the studio, working diligently on her soon-to-be-released solo album. She’s also collaborating currently on upcoming singles with virtuoso violinist, keyboardist, and vocalist Ginny Luke, as well as cutting tracks for the new sophomore record from the Americana-flavored combo, the Midnight Cowgirls — a must-see band with whom Bella will be touring throughout the summer of 2025 — just in time to turn the ripe old age of 23.
Bella enjoys longtime endorsement relationships with Laney Amplification, Ibanez Guitars, Gator Cases, and Dimarzio Pickups. She is also currently available for professional studio work, live gigs, private music lessons, and other related opportunities.
